Craft judges 2026: Michael James, Jim McCormack, Fiona Campbell, Sarah Day, and Caroline Groves
Sponsored by bespoke shoemakers Carréducker, the Craft of Shoemaking Award celebrates and encourages the heritage craft of handsewn shoemaking. The winning entry will receive a package in the form of specialist training of over 100+ hours at the Carréducker School, covering pattern making, closing techniques and handsewn shoemaking.
‘What distinguishes this year’s finalists is their unwavering passion and dedication,’ said Deborah Carré. ‘They have each carved out precious time from work, studies, and family life to realise a pair of shoes or boots.’
