Not only do they embody the finest traditions of the craft of shoemaking, but they also reflect some of the most exciting aspects of modern footwear design and manufacture.

Established members of the industry have also embraced the heritage and philanthropic traditions of the City livery companies by giving their time and expertise to support younger footwear designers and manufacturers via Cordwainer mentoring schemes.
