Ramblings of a reluctant cyclist

In 2019, Past Master Jeremy Blanford completed the gruelling 150 mile coast-to-coast cycle ride from Seascale in Cumbria, to Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast in 15 hours. This year, he hoped to participate in the 100-mile Prudential RideLondon cycle ride.

Harry’s Giant Pledge

The Cordwainers’ nominated charity for 2019-2020 will be the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, and, specifically, our fundraising will go to Harry’s Giant Pledge, which was set up by Past Warden James Shaw and his family in memory of their son Harry.

Let’s just get it done

We hope as many Cordwainers, family and friends as possible will join us on Sunday 14th June for the Cordwainer March along the River Thames.

Marching for the Marsden

The Master’s charity for 2016-17 was the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, based at The Royal Marsden Hospital, which was founded by Past Master Dr William Marsden in 1851.
